Thanks! Yes, I guess it’s true that contemporary metaphysicians would have little time for a falsifiability criterion that could constrain inquiry. But some do think that the methodology of contemporary metaphysics has some similarities to scientific methodology — e.g. Timothy Williamson thinks that inference to the best explanation is a cornerstone of both enterprises (e.g. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/phil.12122)
