Thanks. I need to think a bit more about that, but it certainly sounds interesting. I definitely agree that it’s desirable to be able to stay put and a hassle to move and it’s least a prima facie (and maybe more than prima facie) impalatable feature of the view that it doesn’t have room for it.

My sense is that it’s kind of a deep feature of the view, though, and my suspicion (though I’m not certain and certainly shouldn’t be taken as speaking on the authors’ behalf) is that the distinction between renting and owning you’re working with (where renting is using without owning), is not a distinction that’s part of the RM story. That said, were you to read the original and have thoughts about how it could be I would be interested to hear them!
